The Workforce
Preparedness Pamphlet Series is designed to jumpstart individuals in
the workforce– both from the job readiness and
the life skill perspective. These pamphlets
give an overview of basic skills needed to succeed at home and on the
job. They can be used as instructional tools, or as an intial assessment
to determine needed services.
The program is designed to screen clients into two categories –
All materials are designed to target a 9th grade reading level – the minimum required literacy for many programs. Each pamphlet uses effective instructional design and includes activities, chunked messages, and bullets for easy reading.
