Teaching Life Skills and Job Readiness for Success

Veterans' eTools

Manage your workforce development training with an online solution created to meet the needs of both clients and case managers. Concept-driven e-training address both life skills and job readiness, one issue at a time.
Choose from a catalog of over 300 hours of life skill and job readiness lessons. Thanks to their design, these e-lessons are effective tools for individuals who need good information in a fast, independent and easy-to-use format. Each lesson contains only the most important information on a single topic.

The Training Process

  1. Initial entry of basic and robust data– You decide what information to collect about your clients– i.e. name/address/ phone, plus demographic and economic data, literacy level, primary language, services being received, military service, etc. Collect data to generate reports and statistics to document program success and intervention needs.
  2. Initial online assessment identifies entry focus for training and materials. Modules are sequenced and measured based on the needs
    of the client.
  3. User completes lessons independently–
    • Control the order in which lessons are completed and certified
    • Set time requirements so individuals must spend a minimum amount of time on each lesson to meet program requirements
    • Each lesson includes text, audio, or video with an interactive exercise followed by online assessment.
  4. Online dashboards track user progress– Customized dashboards let individuals see their current progress on their training. Case workers can access their own dashboard to assist in managing and mentoring the details of each person’s learning experience. Case workers can monitor progress towards goals and identify areas for intervention.
  5. Follow up with individuals after training is complete– Your customized questionnaires automatically gather feedback from participants on current success. You determine the point in the program where the questionnaire is presented.
  6. Track information and statistics for reporting– the powerful database captures and stores all training information and assessment. Use this information to generate reports and assess program outcomes.
